Terms & Conditions

The Free Consultation is designed as a professional pre-assessment service focused on

understanding the dog, the owner, and the overall situation before any training or behavioural

work begins.

 

1. Scope of Service

The Free Consultation is a preliminary evaluation and discussion session.

Its purpose is to:

  • observe the dog’s behaviour and responses

  • in discuss the owner’s concerns, routines and expectations

  • assess suitability for potential training or behavioural services

The Free Consultation does not constitute training, behavioural modification, or instruction.

No guarantees are given regarding outcomes or future results.

2. What the Free Consultation Includes

The Free Consultation may include:

  • behavioural observation in real-life contexts

  • assessment of body language and emotional responses

  • discussion of background history and current challenges

  • professional insight into possible approaches and services

Any recommendations provided are informational only and do not

represent a commitment to commence training.

3. What the Free Consultation Does Not Include

The Free Consultation does not include:

  • practical training or exercises

  • teaching commands

  • behaviour correction or modification

  • use of training tools or equipment

  • follow-up sessions unless separately agreed

Any training or behavioural work requires a separate service agreement.

4. Owner Responsibility

The owner remains fully responsible for the dog at all times during the Free Consultation.

By attending, the owner confirms that:

  • they are the legal owner or authorised handler of the dog

  • the dog is under their control throughout the session

  • they will follow any safety instructions provided

  • The dog remains under the owner’s supervision and responsibility at all times.

5. Behavioural Disclosure

The owner must disclose all known behavioural concerns prior to the consultation,

including but not limited to:

  • aggression towards people or dogs

  • previous biting incidents

  • reactivity, fear or anxiety

  • medical conditions affecting behaviour

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in immediate termination of the consultation.

6. Aggressive or High-Risk Behaviour

For dogs displaying aggressive or high-risk behaviour:

  • the Free Consultation is used solely to assess behaviour and suitability

  • no handling is guaranteed

  • safety considerations take priority at all times

The professional reserves the right to limit interaction or end the consultation if safety cannot be maintained.

7. Professional DiscretionFollowing the Free Consultation:

  • services may be recommended, modified, or declined

  • alternative options may be suggested

  • acceptance into any programme is not guaranteed

All decisions are made based on professional judgement, safety, and welfare considerations.

8. No Guarantee of Results

The Free Consultation provides assessment and information only.

Behavioural outcomes depend on multiple factors, including:

  • the dog’s temperament and history

  • owner consistency and follow-through

  • environment and external influences

  • No guarantees are made or implied.

9. Liability & Risk

Interaction with animals involves inherent risks.

The professional is not liable for:

  • incidents resulting from undisclosed behavioural history

  • owner failure to maintain control of the dog

  • unpredictable animal behaviour

  • Liability is limited to cases of proven negligence.

10. Confidentiality

All information shared during the Free Consultation is treated as confidential and used solely for professional assessment and service evaluation.

11. Termination of Consultation

The Free Consultation may be ended immediately if:

  • safety is compromised

  • relevant information has not been disclosed

  • instructions are not followed

No obligation exists to complete the session under unsafe conditions.

12. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

BOARDING & TRAINING

Terms & Conditions

Boarding & Training is a professional service combining in-home boarding with structured

training, delivered within a controlled domestic environment and based on professional

assessment and judgement.

By enrolling a dog in the Boarding & Training programme, the client agrees to the following

Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Scope of Service

Boarding & Training includes:

in-home boarding in a private domestic environment

daily structured training and management

behavioural guidance based on professional assessment

Training is delivered according to the dog’s individual

needs and progression during the stay.

No guarantee is given regarding specific behavioural outcomes, as results depend

on multiple factors including the dog’s history, temperament, environment, and owner follow-through after the programme.

2. Suitability & Acceptance

All dogs must be deemed suitable for Boarding & Training prior to acceptance.

Acceptance into the programme:

  • is based on professional assessment

  • may be declined or withdrawn if safety or welfare concerns arise

  • does not guarantee future acceptance if circumstances change

The trainer reserves full discretion regarding suitability at all times.

3. Owner Responsibilities

By enrolling in Boarding & Training, the owner confirms that:

  • they are the legal owner or authorised handler of the dog

  • all information provided about the dog is accurate and complete

  • they agree to follow post-training guidance once the dog returns home

Failure to apply the recommended structure, handling, or rules after the programme may limit or compromise results.

4. Behavioural Disclosure

The owner must disclose all known behavioural issues prior to acceptance,

including but not limited to:

  • aggression towards people or dogs

  • previous biting incidents

  • reactivity, fear, or anxiety

  • escape behaviour or destructiveness

  • medical conditions affecting behaviour

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in immediate termination of the programme

without refund.

5. Aggressive or High-Risk Behaviour

For dogs displaying aggressive or high-risk behaviour:

  • acceptance is subject to professional judgement

  • no handling or outcome is guaranteed

  • safety protocols take priority at all times

The trainer reserves the right to modify, restrict, or terminate the programme if the dog becomes

unsafe to manage in a home environment.

6. Feeding & Supplies

The owner is responsible for providing:

  • sufficient food for the full duration of the stay

  • clear feeding instructions

  • any necessary medication with written guidance

Changes in diet during the stay are not permitted unless agreed in advance.

The trainer is not responsible for issues arising from:●

  • insufficient food supply

  • undisclosed dietary sensitivities

  • changes requested by the owner mid-programme

7. Training Methods, Equipment & Professional Trust

Boarding & Training is based on professional judgement and experience.

By enrolling, the owner agrees that:

  • training methods, tools, and approaches are selected solely by the trainer

  • recommendations are made in the best interest of the dog’s welfare and progress

  • no liability is accepted for outcomes resulting from recommended techniques when

  • followed correctly

Disagreement with methods after enrolment does not constitute grounds for refund or liability.

8. Owner Compliance After Training

For results to remain stable, the owner agrees to:

  • follow post-training instructions

  • apply recommended handling and structure consistently

  • attend follow-up or refresher sessions if advised

The trainer is not responsible for regression caused by lack of consistency after the programme.

 

9. Health & Veterinary Care

The owner confirms that the dog:

  • is in suitable physical health to participate

  • is free from contagious illness

  • has no untreated medical condition affecting behaviour

  • In case of illness or injury during the stay:

  • the trainer may seek veterinary care if necessary

  • reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner

  • veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner

10. Liability & Risk

Boarding & Training involves interaction with animals and inherent risk.

The trainer is not liable for:

  • injury or damage caused by undisclosed behavioural issues

  • incidents resulting from the dog’s unpredictable behaviour

  • issues arising from owner non-compliance post-training

  • Liability is limited to cases of proven negligence.

 

11. Updates & Communication

Daily updates are provided as part of the service.

However, updates are informational only and do not

constitute training instruction or contractual reporting.

12. Termination of Programme

The trainer reserves the right to terminate Boarding & Training if:

  • safety is compromised

  • behavioural risk becomes unmanageable

  • critical information was not disclosed

  • payment terms are breached

  • In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed.

13. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

TRAINING LESSONS
 

Terms & Conditions

Training Lessons are offered as a professional service aimed at improving communication,

safety, and long-term behavioural stability between dog and owner.

By booking and attending Training Lessons, the client agrees to the following

Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of Service

Training Lessons are provided as professional guidance for dog owners.

The service may include:

  • handling techniques

  • training exercises

  • behavioural and management guidance

All training is delivered based on professional experience and assessment at the time of each session.

No guarantee is given regarding specific behavioural outcomes,

as results depend on multiple

factors beyond the trainer’s control, including but not limited to:

  • the dog’s history, genetics, and environment

  • owner consistency and correct application of guidance

  • external variables and environmental factors

 

2. Owner Responsibility

The owner remains fully responsible for the dog at all times,

including during training sessions.

By enrolling in Training Lessons, the owner confirms that:

  • they are the legal owner or authorised handler

  • the dog is physically and behaviourally fit to participate

  • they will follow the trainer’s instructions between sessions

Failure to apply guidance consistently may limit or prevent progress.

3. Behavioural Disclosure

The owner must disclose all known behavioural issues before the first session,

including but not limited to:

  • aggression towards people or dogs

  • previous biting incidents

  • reactivity, fear, or anxiety

  • medical conditions affecting behaviour

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

4. Reactive or Aggressive DogsTraining Lessons may be provided for reactive or behaviourally challenging dogs. However:

  • progress may be gradual and non-linear

  • outcomes cannot be guaranteed

  • safety protocols must be followed at all times

  • The trainer reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate sessions if the dog is deemed

  • unsafe under the current setup.

5. Safety & Equipment

The trainer may recommend specific equipment or handling methods based on the dog’s needs.

The owner agrees to:

  • use recommended equipment correctly

  • follow all handling and safety instructions

  • The trainer is not liable for injury or damage resulting from:

  • incorrect or improper use of equipment

  • deviation from instructions

  • third-party interference or environmental factors

6. Behaviour Outside Sessions

The trainer is not responsible for the dog’s behaviour outside scheduled training sessions. Any incidents occurring outside training time remain the sole responsibility of the owner.

7. Health & Veterinary Care

The owner confirms that the dog:

  • is in suitable physical health

  • is free from contagious illness

  • has no untreated medical condition affecting behaviour

  • The trainer is not responsible for health issues arising before,

  • during, or after training unless caused by proven negligence.

8. Payments & Lesson Packages

Training Lessons are sold in packages of 3, 6, or 9 sessions.

Full payment is required in advance

Sessions are non-refundable once started

Packages are non-transferable to other dogs or owners

Unused sessions may expire after a reasonable period unless otherwise agreed

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session.

Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the session being forfeited

Sessions may be rescheduled by the trainer due to weather, safety concerns, or

unforeseen circumstances

10. Professional Judgment

The trainer retains full professional discretion regarding:

  • training methods

  • session structure and progression

  • suitability for continued lessons or alternative services

All decisions are made in the interest of safety, welfare, and effectiveness.

11. Media & Recording

Recording of sessions (audio or video) is not permitted without prior consent.

The trainer may request permission to record sessions

for documentation or professional purposes.

12. Termination of Service

The trainer reserves the right to terminate services if:

safety is compromised

  • instructions are repeatedly ignored

  • aggressive behaviour cannot be managed safely

  • payment terms are breached

  • In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed.

13. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
