Dogs stay in a structured home environment and follow a consistent daily routine while receiving focused training every day. 

HOME-BASED TRAINING ENVIRONMENT

Boarding & Training takes place in a private home setting,
not in kennels or commercial facilities.
The environment is a three-bedroom maisonette with a private garden, allowing dogs to live in a calm, controlled and realistic household context.
Training is carried out in real-life situations, where behaviour naturally occurs.

Daily routines are respected to ensure stability and faster adaptation.
Sleeping arrangements follow the dog’s usual habits:
 

  • crate-trained dogs sleep in a crate
     

  • dogs used to the sofa sleep on the sofa
     

  • dogs accustomed to sleeping in bed can maintain that routine
     

Consistency supports emotional balance and learning.

Progress develops with time as behaviours are introduced, reinforced and stabilised.

Training focuses on essential, real-life skills, including:
 

  • recall
     

  • waiting calmly
     

  • settling in public environments
     

  • loose leash walking (heel)
     

  • off-leash reliability (depending on programme length)
     

Training progression
 

  • 1 week: on-leash foundation
     

  • 2 weeks: mixed on-leash and off-leash work
     

  • 3 weeks: advanced off-leash reliability
     

 
DAILY UPDATES & COMMUNICATION

Owners receive daily updates, including:
 

  • photos and videos of training and daily activities
     

  • written progress notes
     

  • behavioural observations
     

This ensures transparency and constant communication throughout the programme.
 

 


SUITABILITY & ASSESSMENT

Boarding & Training for reactive or aggressive dogs, a Meet & Greet is strongly recommended.
This allows suitability to be assessed and helps avoid unnecessary returns by ensuring the dog can adapt safely to an environment that is not their own.
 
AFTER THE PROGRAMME – LONG-TERM BENEFITS

Upon successful completion of the programme:

  • owners can book holiday boarding without retraining, at a reduced rate
     

  • ongoing guidance and support remain available
     

 
If any difficulties arise after returning home, refresher sessions are included to reinforce learned behaviours.
